Store Personalization Models
Gaming web stores can greatly improve user satisfaction and boost sales by implementing effective personalization strategies. As part of the solutions and integration phases together with the Appcharge team, the best model for the publisher's needs will be chosen. Appcharge offers two powerful approaches to achieve this:
1. Offers List
The Offers List model focuses on engaging users with timely and relevant promotions based on their classification by the game. The platform uses data analytics to determine the best offers for each player, including:
- Discounts
- Multipliers
- One-time Deals
- Campaigns
- Player Birthdays
- Frequently Viewed but Not Purchased Offers
These base offers are configured in the Appcharge system. During player activity, the system retrieves the offers and their dynamic product details, including quantities, based on calculations by the game system, using the relevant API.
2. Using Segments
Personalization through Segmentation involves categorizing players based on common traits such as their purchasing behavior, game preferences, and engagement levels. For example, a game might identify segments such as:
- Hardcore Gamers
- New Players
- Frequent Spenders
By analyzing user data and purchase histories, stores can tailor their interfaces, recommendations, and promotions to match the specific preferences of each segment. This could include offering special promotions, bonuses, or bundles relevant to each group.
With Appcharge, you can leverage segmentation to create targeted offers. Once a player logs into the store, Player Info Sync retrieves their segment information as defined by the game logic, and presents personalized offers accordingly.
How Both Models Work
Both segmentation and offers list models utilize the Player Info Sync API but in different ways. They are triggered under these conditions:
- Immediately after login
- Every 5 minutes
- Immediately after purchasing an offer or collecting a bonus
By implementing these personalization techniques, gaming web stores can enhance player experiences and drive increased engagement and sales.
